Black History Month
The 1960’s musical genre of Latin bugalu was a fusion of Cuban rhythms and African-American R&B. In honor of Black History Month, tonight’s program will explore the African-American influence on the genre. We’ll begin with a screening of ‘We Like it Like That: The Story of Latin Boogaloo’ followed by Q&A. Then a performance by The Antoinette Montague Experience. Admission: $7 | $5 for students and seniors | FREE for kids 12 – under + IG residents. Tickets at the door.
