A dance and drum presentation showcasing how Afro Puerto Rican rhythms are
connected to New Orleans Congo rhythms. Bombazo Dance Co is the first dance
company to present traditional bomba in New Orleans. The evening will consist of
an excerpt from the company’s production: Bamboula! It will be followed by an
interactive lecture/ demonstration of the history, ending in a community jam the
Southern way. Admission fee: $7. Reduced fee: $5 (for studentsand Intervale
Green residents).Children under 12 free.
