The Feringhees

The Feringhees are a Bangladeshi-American band based in New York City. Founded in 2012 from interactions on the City College campus, they played as a cover band. Since their inception, they have traveled down a musical road with many twists and turns, and have begun to write songs of their own. The Feringhees consider themselves a multi-genre band: their influences and inspirations are limitless, ranging from the likes of Nazrul Sangeet and classic Bengali film songs to classic rock, progressive rock, and contemporary Bangla rock & fusion. They strive to use these varying sources to develop their sound, whether playing covers or writing original tunes. The Feringhees are currently unsigned, independent artists.
