TATS Cru

Wilfredo “Bio” Feliciano started his artistic career in the early eighties at the height of the NYC subway graffiti movement. Thirty years later he is considered to be one of the top stylists or letter masters throughout the movement worldwide. He is known for his many letter styles, complex and intricate wild styles as well as his explosive use of colors. He is also a founding member of the world-famous art collective known as Tats Cru “The Mural Kings” originally known as TAT Cru founded by Brim, Mack and Bio in the 1980s. Tats Cru continues to be a major force in the advancement of graffiti art both commercially and artistically. Bio’s work has been featured in many publications, movies, music videos and documentaries throughout his career.
Sotero (BG183) Ortiz was born in the South Bronx and was inspired to start drawing by his older sister when he was 4 years old. In the early 1980s he discovered his preferred medium was spray paint. His work has been shown at many venues including the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, The Bronx Museum of the Art, Lord and Taylor, as movie backdrops, in music videos, and at the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, Georgia.
Hector (Nicer) Nazario was born in the South Bronx. In the 80’s, as a teenager he was drawn to the colored written graffiti on the subway trains and walls. Working with local graffiti artists was his first official introduction to the art world. He was part of the collective in 1996, forming the first graffiti company of its kind, “TATS CRU, INC” was born and had one main goal; to show the world that graffiti is a viable art form.
