Gwen Laster, violin
Gwen grew up in Detroit’s urban and classical music scene. After earning her BM and MM from the University of Michigan School of Music, Gwen relocated to New York City. She has won awards from the NEA, ASCAP, and Cognac Hennessy Jazz Search. Her chamber and orchestral work include Sphinx Symphony Orchestra, Brooklyn Philharmonic, and the Sugar Hill Classical Band.
Ina Paris, violin
Cuban-born violinist Ina Paris-Cabello is a five-time prizewinner in the Cuban National Competition and a former member of Havana-based Camerata Romeu, Cuba’s premier chamber orchestra. She has played for sitting Prime Ministers and Presidents, and recorded a CD “La Bella Cubana” that garnered the Premio de la Critica Especializada (Cuba’s “Grammy”).
Patrissa Tomassini, violin
Patrissa Tomassini is the winner of the Stresa International Violin Competition and the first prize winner of the Chamber Music Competition in Casale Monferrato, Italy. She began her music studies w/ the Evangelist Friars and violin with Ruggero Ricci , in Assisi, Italy. Since graduating from the Accademia Musicale Ottorino Respighi, in Rome, she has been concertizing throughout Europe, the Americas, and Australia.
