Danza Fiesta (Puerto Rican traditional)

Danza Fiesta: Baile y Teatro Puertorriqueño is part of the non-profit organization Diversity in the Arts and Nations for Cultural Education, Inc. (D.A.N.C.E., Inc.). Danza Fiesta is a
New York-based dance company of 25 dancers and musicians under the direction of Hilda Rivera-Pantojas.
The mission is to celebrate and preserve the traditions of their Puerto Rican heritage and culture. The masks used in today’s program were created by well-known artisans and donated by the late mayor of Ponce Rafael Cordero Santiago The vejigante costumes were designed by Danza Fiesta’s Artistic Director Raul Wilson and designer Luisa Edsell.
