Flo Kennedy interlaces her melodic voice with venomous rhymes of truth, staying true to her name. The 22 year old emerging femcee and Harlem native is “politicking to her people through her penmanship,” supplying her culture with nostalgic blends of spoken word poetry and hip-hop. As the kinks in her curls vaguely describe her distinctive style, her lyricism is quite unapologetic. Her position is to make the listener see sounds through her music which will show through her upcoming project, The He(art) EP, releasing later this year.
